Your driveway, your work lot, or the roadside
We need two things: reasonably level ground, and enough room to work safely beside the vehicle. That’s it. We’ve worked in single driveways, apartment stalls, office parking ramps, farm yards and on the shoulder.
- Home driveways — the most common by far, and the easiest.
- Apartment and condo lots — your assigned stall, with the property office’s OK for anything on jack stands.
- Workplace lots — the best use of a mobile mechanic. Your car sits all day anyway. Employer permission required.
- Roadside — for no-starts and breakdowns, where it’s safe to set up.
Where we can’t work: anywhere on a slope steep enough to make jack stands unsafe, inside low-clearance parking ramps, or on private property without the owner’s permission. We’ll tell you on the phone.
